Photo Diaries: It's 2013!

This is my first Photo Diaries post of the year. I haven't really posted at all this year. I don't really have a decent reason why. I think it is probably because I've been spending most of my time going to the beach, eating, sleeping and just being the laziest person in the whole of Auckland(possibly New Zealand or the world).

It's weird I have started almost bragging about how lazy I am, like it's some sort of accomplishment.
But HEY! I am on holiday, and not for too much longer. So I might as well make the most of it.

This month has been really great. I got back from my trip to Aspen at the beginning of the month. My friend Evan came over from Boston and was staying with me when I got back. He took some pretty sweet photos while he was here(you should check them out on his blog).

I've tried to get out to the beach as much as possible. I'm also trying to get back into surfing! I got kind of good when I was like 14, but then I lost interest. Now I suck at it. It is sooo frustrating and embarrassing, I really want to quit(don't tell my dad).
Seriously no one looks cool in a wetsuit. No one.

Then there are new year's resolutions! Which everyone apparently hates now but I still think are cool and fun! I didn't really make any until halfway through January and they are really crap, but I did make some so here they are:

1. Do more exercise. Preferably 3 times a week, but so far I have failed miserably at this. Seriously though, I really need to start doing more exercise or something. Because I swear ever since I turned 20 the speed of my metabolism has DRAMATICALLY decreased and I am really starting to notice(and I'm sure other people are noticing too).

2. Eat better. You know the drill, fruit and stuff blah, blah, blah. Also I want to start eating breakfast more too, because I never do.

3. Move out. This is a biggie! I have never lived out of home before and I am super scared, but excited. I just decided that I need to do this because I am way too immature and dependent on my parents. I can't wait to have my own space, but I can wait to be poor and do washing.

4. Finally, I want to work harder. This applies to both uni and work.

Pretty boring resolutions, I know. But at least they give me something to think about I guess.

Basically so far it has been a pretty rad summer. I've got about another month to go. Hopefully I'll do a bit more blogging this next month.

More sweet pics of my summer so far below:
