Places I Like: The unBakery (Little Bird Organics)

Mum and I went and had brunch here a wee while back. She had been before with one of her girlfriends, loved it and really wanted to go back. We went to the one in Ponsonby which is in a great little spot at the top of Summer Street just off the Ponsonby Road.
When you walk in the place looks awesome and has a great vibe. But what really sets them apart from the rest is that all of the food is made using only raw, healthy, organic ingredients(nothing is cooked over 40 degrees Celsius). I'm not typically super heath conscious when it come to my food choices (as anyone who follows me on instagram would know) but it doesn't hurt to make a healthy choice every once in a while.

We arrived at around 11am, it was super busy but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat.
Before we even sat down I ordered the cold brew coffee. Perfect on a hot summers day when you don't feel like a hot drink, I'm obsessed with it at the moment. They serve theirs in cute little beakers over ice with a side of hazel nut milk.
Ma just had the filter coffee.

As for food I went for the 'Little bird's Grawnola & Nut Milk' with cacao & superfoods which was awesome - super light a crunchy. I love me some good granola and this was some damn good granola.
Mum had the 'Bird Bowl' which is basically 4 different salads. Also awesome, lots of avo and the beetroot salad was off the chain. I ended up eating half of hers too.

To top it all off the staff were so lovely, so yup pretty awesome all round really. You should definitely go check it out if you haven't already.

Location: 1a Summer Street, Ponsonby & 385 New North Road, Kingland.
Opening Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm

The food is a little different so if you're one of those annoying people who don't like trying new things then, well, don't be.
