Photo Diaries: The Summer Holidays Edit

Pam reading at the bach in Waihi

It has been way too long since I've done one of these posts. I felt like I needed to. Partly because I haven't really posted anything in ages and also because I think the blog needs some posts that aren't just about clothes. You know, something a little more personal otherwise it gets a bit dry.

So I decided to do a bit of a round up of my summer and I chose some of my favorite photos taken over the last few months.

I had an awesome summer.
Uni break is pretty long and I didn't go overseas or anything so I had a good amount of proper time-off in Auckland which was great.
I actually began to really appreciate how lucky I am to live where I do. I have everything I want, all the people and places, but it's also so close to so many beautiful surf beaches.
Getting back into surfing has been a big part of this summer. Tim drags me out there and I glad he does otherwise I probably wouldn't have done it at all.
The highlight of the summer had to be going down to the McDonald family's bach. They are my closest family friends. I've been going there almost every year since I was a kid. It's the most beautiful,  old, quintessential kiwi bach with a big deck and caravans out the back. This year I took Evan down with me when he came to visit and he was obsessed.
Spent time with friends and family, went to some great concerts and just relaaaaxed.
That pretty much sums it up. A perfs, cheesy, NZ summer and damn it was good.

Here are some photos starting from way back in November at my birthday dinner...

Great wee bunch of my favorites.

Lily and I at softball. The season just finished, but man Monday nights out on the diamond were the best.

Out on the boat ramp at Hamilton Beach, me and Tyla's favorite tanning spot.

Christmas eve on the front lawn at my best friend Kelly's new flat.

Staff Christmas party with my boss Steve.
