8 ways to wear colour

I know colour can be a little bit scary, it isn't always easy to do right.
The first thing that comes to mind when I think about wearing colour is that awkward in-between age where all my pants were a little bit too short and I wore all my favourite colours at once, plus some colours that I didn't like but were handed down to me from my big sister. Thankfully that was just before the time of Facebook and Instagram so there isn't any evidence of that online bar a couple of TBTs I couldn't not post.
But it doesn't have to be like that, it can be fun, sophisticated and even a little bit sexy if you do it right. Everyone should have a the confidence to wear whatever colours they like. Some may need a little extra help, but no worries thats why I'm here. I have done all the hard work so now you have no excuse not to wear all of the colours all of the time...

1. Accessories

If you’re really struggling then accessories are a great place to start. You can always pop on a brightly coloured beanie, backpack or if you’re going out a bright clutch looks fresh.

2. Sneakers

I’m a sucker for bright sneaks. I’m a sucker for all sneakers but anything with a colourful 90’s vibe going on… done.

3. Jackets & Sweaters

Invest in a few big bright sweaters and jumpers. Trust me, just chuck a bright jumper on with any boring old outfit and you’re good to go.

4. Prints

Even if your t shirt is white it can still have a dope lil coloured print on it!

5. Socks

A great sneaky way of adding colour. I love a simple outfit with some bright socks.

 6. Florals

Florals are an easy way to wear colour without really even feeling like you’re wearing colour. Your wardroom should already have some classic florals in there so dig deep and get them out.

7. With Dove Invisible Dry, tested on 100 colours you can wear all of your favourite colours with confidence you'll have no white marks.

8. If all else fails, just watch a Wes Anderson film. If that doesn't inspire you to wear more colour... I don't know what will!
